I guess the funniest group was the one where a DPSer invoked me as a deity.

Sort of.

The two DPSers were typical Leroys -- running ahead, aggro-ing and expecting me to bail them out ... while I was already fighting a group of mobs. I didn't run after them -- I just kept on the mobs that I was already engaging. The Healer, bless his soul, stayed with me. The two DPSers, now at about 10% health, came running back, mobs hot on their heals. "Marcus, please", said one.

'Twas the "please" that caught me. A plaintive cry for help from someone in over their head. So I group-taunted, we handled the fight and then I said, "'Please', as in 'please stay behind the tank and don't run ahead?'"

That was when the DPSer said, "Dear Lord".

I don't know how I resisted the temptation to respond, "Just 'Marcus' is fine."

But I did. And for the rest of the duty, the two Leroys were well-behaved. That's a fair trade-off.
